Sunday Evenings: 18:00-19:05
Each Sunday evening we have an evangelistic meeting at 10:30 suitable for people of all ages. The meeting is opened by a time of singing praises to God, a prayer, followed by a message is given by a visiting speaker. The speakers who visit are not always given a set topic, but come and preach the Gospel, which God has recently laid on their hearts. Also the speakers who preach in the evening services are men from known evangelical backgrounds.
For the younger ones, there is a crèche that can be made available for looking after children while the speaker preaches to the adults. If you’re visiting Leckwith for the evening meeting, and wish for your child/children to be looked after during the sermon, please let us know. Some morning families of the children from the Sunday school are encouraged to attend a special celebration, where the children of the Sunday school take part in singing a song, or acting out in part of a play. These are normally events throughout the year, for example, Christmas family services or Easter services.
Join us for a cuppa on Sunday Evenings!
Each Sunday after the meeting, we get together for a cuppa tea or coffee, and also a chance to chat. You are welcome to stay and join us for a cuppa.
