Sunday evenings we have a meeting at 6 o’clock suitable for people of all ages. It is opened by a time of singing, a prayer, and then a message is given by a visiting preacher who is invited to come and preach the Gospel of God’s love and salvation
For those too young to sit in the service, arrangements can be made for their care whilst the preacher speaks to the adults. If you’re visiting Leckwith for the evening meeting, and wish for your child/children to be looked after during the message, please let the person greeting you know.
There are special events throughout the year, for example, we have a Christmas family celebration, an Easter celebration, Harvest Thanksgiving and a Sunday School Prize-giving in July. On these occasions the children often take part.
For the children, on the last Sunday of the month, at the same time as our Public Service we organise a night we call our Krafty Kids Club. They need bring nothing as we will provide anything necessary for them to make something whilst the sermon is being given. All children are welcome and you will be too.
Join us for a cuppa on Sunday Evenings!
Each Sunday after the meeting, we stay together for a cup of tea or coffee, and also a chance to chat. You are welcome to join us.
